System Administrator Position Overview

We take the stress out of travelling for passengers. With our platform, airlines can deliver content that lets passengers tailor their trip uniquely for themselves.

This includes items and services for travelers throughout their whole trip, like priority boarding or lounge access, a tour of the Eiffel Tower if you're in Paris, or a personalized whiskey tour if you're in Dublin.

This approach to the travel experience transforms how airlines provide value to their passengers and drives ancillary revenue through every stage of the customer journey.

The vision for our platform will deliver on this promise by leveraging AI to offer an extensive inventory of personalized, high-

demand and custom curated content - including offers for pre, during and post travel - through an intuitive, customer centric interface delivering benefits for passengers and airlines.

And we need your help to make this vision a reality.

What we are looking for :

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the availability, scalability and performance of internal systems used by Guestlogix to create, maintain, and support our corporate infrastructure and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with your teammates and our company at large to improve our office network, servers, teleconferencing, phone, email, PC and Mac workstations, and more.

You'll also join our after-hours support list.

What you will do here :

  • Take ownership of internal help desk
  • Maintain IT infrastructure including networks and systems
  • Keep asset management up to date
  • Lead various IT projects
  • Troubleshoot common office equipment
  • Work with external vendors
  • Provide after hour support and perform maintenance when needed
  • What you will need to excel here :

  • 5 years of Windows, Mac and Linux system administration including responsibility for multi office technology performance and availability.
  • A deep curiosity that motivates you to keep on top of technical trends and informs your ability to suggest tools and approaches to interesting problems.
  • The ability to empathize with and communicate clearly to all the other parts of the business.
  • Familiarity with some of the software we use : Windows Server, Active Directory, CentOS, GitHub, nginx, Apache, HAProxy, MySQL, AWS / Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Gsuite, Ring Central, Asset management tools, Cisco switches and Sophos security appliances.
  • A strong understanding of system interdependence.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Able to work independently and a team player
  • Take initiative and accountable
  • Certified in ITIL v3, preferred
  • Network security experience (Penetration tests, vulnerability scan) preferred
