WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
On-site and remote-office technical support service including installation, configuration, and problem resolution for company systems and service.
Technical support on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment and services.
Serves as a contact on technical and service-related problems.
Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures, using established procedures.
Determines the most cost-effective repair / resolution to minimize downtime.
Monitors and responds to service requests.
Resolves technical problems with hardware, software, and connectivity.
Sets up and configures user workstations and equipment.
Maintain current and accurate inventory of computer hardware, software, and resources.
Troubleshoot and resolve any and all hardware, software, and network systems issues to ensure maximum uptime of critical systems including Internet access.
Ensuring nightly backup, security, virus protection, and licensed software are in place.
Setup and manage user profile accounts
Troubleshoots staff issues while maintaining system services within a reasonable time.
Participates in the configuration and support of internal systems.
Supports installation and implementation of connectivity and system products.
Troubleshoots and resolves any and all hardware, software, and network system issues to ensure maximum uptime of critical systems.
Participates with On-call after-hours service responsibilities
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE :
Post-secondary diploma in Computer Systems, Computer Sciences, or related program.
Previous experience configuring / troubleshooting computer systems and networks in a small or medium-sized corporate environment.
Knowledge of computer hardware, network administration, computer troubleshooting, computer security practices.
Proven skills to troubleshoot and maintain IT system services, administer user accounts, and ability to perform installation, setup, and maintenance of software, and hardware.
Working experience with Windows systems.
Knowledge and experience working with Server Virtualization (VMWare) is required.
Must have a driver's license as occasional travel will be required to the satellite offices.
