Our major education client located Downtown Toronto is currently seeking 5 outstanding Technical Support Specialists! This is an exciting 6 month contract with a possibility of extension.
You will be responsible for providing a high level of service by assisting Client Services team members with the fulfillment and resolution of IT related support as well as completing maintenance tasks in our shared collaborative spaces.
You may also be asked to work on various key projects including Learning Management Engine, Office 365, Windows 10 upgrade, Voice over IP implementation and other technical or application related upgrades and initiatives.
Your typical duties and responsibilities will include :
Roles and Responsibilities
Client and Teaching Technology support with focus on desktop, print, AV / VC, Office 365, hardware, data recovery technologies and more.
Service and multi-tasking skills in information technology support and project coordination.
Stellar communication skills while interacting with clients in various units, including the Dean’s Office and our academic departments.
Hands on practical experience in the maintenance, set-up and support of systems and shared space technology.
Assist with end to end service and support tasks with effective multi-tasking.
Gain familiarity with ticketing and knowledge management systems.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or degree in Computing Support, Networking or relevant technical equivalent.
Proven hands-on expertise with Windows 7 / 10 and Mac and a diverse array of client computing devices
An impressive aptitude for technology currency and awareness as well as breadth of knowledge
Office 365 familiarity is considered a very strong asset.
Excellent support skills including troubleshooting, teamwork, documentation, client service, multi-tasking and conflict management
Audio visual / video conferencing expertise is considered a strong asset
