Job Description

The Analyst - Systems Support has responsibility for network systems and infrastructure across the North American offices, particularly the Data Centers based in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.

Working in a team environment, provide a safe, stable, and reliable national infrastructure including monitoring and operations on a 24x7 basis.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

  • Assists Infrastructure Manager in setting objectives for improving the infrastructure operations and ensuring stability of the system.
  • Maintain, upgrade, and support the production and development server environments consisting of approximately 200 Windows servers.

  • Work with Infrastructure Manager to develop and manage relationships with vendors necessary to support and maintain the LAN / WAN networks.
  • Develop knowledge of the infrastructure processes and architecture. Ensure organization's operational functions are support by maintaining server stability and rapid response to any issues.
  • Deliver additional IT related activities by supporting the helpdesk and project teams as required.

    The Online (L2) Support Analyst has responsibility for triaging, troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues with our websites, databases and user interfaces, relating to our online presence.

    Working in a team environment, assist our customers in providing a safe, stable, and reliable online experience for our customers.

    Key Areas of Responsibility :

  • Triage, troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues
  • Perform technical investigation to debug software systems
  • Determine root-cause of issues and assist in resolution
  • Manage incident communications to business and technical stakeholders
  • Required Skills :

  • Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team
  • Solid Database and SQL knowledge / experience
  • Proven experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline and results oriented environment
  • Experience with Azure storage including Blobs and Tables
  • Understanding of Server Management
  • Knowledge of C# / Java / JavaScript or related programming languages (desirable)
  • Required Experience :

  • 2+ years Previous Support Experience.
  • Level of Education :

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT certification
