Job Requirements :
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below :
Secondary school graduation or equivalent. Preference may be given to applicants with a diploma in Office Administration.
Minimum of 3 years experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff and executives.
Minimum of 3 years experience supervising administrative staff including assignment of work, development and evaluation plans and approval of leave.
Minimum of 1 year intermediate experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint programs.
Preference may be given to candidates with :
Minimum 5 years experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff and executives.
Minimum 5 years experience supervising administrative staff including assignment of work, development and evaluation plans and approval of leave.
Experience in record management, managing office equipment, managing office supply levels.
Minimum 1 year or more experience providing financial functions (i.e. : reconciliations, purchase card / petty cash management, CAS oracle, processing of invoices).
Experience using applications such as; Integrated Case Management (ICM), Management Information System (MIS), Administrative Records Classification System (ARCS) and / or Operational records Classification Systems (ORCS), and / or Time and Leave Management (TALM).
Experience in the Human and / or Social Services sector.
Preference may be given to applicants with experience working with Indigenous People and Delegated Indigenous Agencies.
Preference may be given to applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Metis or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.
