  • What we are looking for :

    The successful candidate will join a team of self-driven individuals with deep interests in trading, portfolio management and derivatives markets.

    The selected applicant will participate in trading activities across assets classes, in the development and integration of portfolio management tools, and will also work closely with our derivatives administration team.

    The nominee will be involved in the of day to day trading activities, cash and collateral management as well as assisting in the implementation of new mandate involving derivatives.

    Deep interest in financial markets as well as the capacity to schematize complex financial problems are also required.

    Responsibilities :

  • Complete and all related day to day trading related activities specifically in the derivatives markets but also across asset classes;
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our trading infrastructure;
  • Execute and perform controls designed to make sure that executed trades are booked accurately;
  • Ensure effective communication with brokers and other stakeholders;
  • Build and enhance derivative pricing models and tools;
  • Participate in and support building the equity derivatives business ;
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm.
  • Must have requirements to be successful in this role :

  • A graduate degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Economics;
  • 2-4 years of relevant trading experience;
  • Knowledge or derivative products, financial markets, and relative experience in trading;
  • Experienced with Bloomberg, Fidessa, Eze Software;
  • Knowledge of relational database;
  • Strong analytical skills and methodical approach to solving problems;
  • Ability to work independently but also essential to be a team player;
  • Ability to adapt to a complex and fast-pace environment;
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, in English and French.
