In our Early Career Program, recent electrical engineering graduates will have the unique opportunity to experience three different rotations, each lasting eight months.

We are looking for motivated, energetic and innovative graduates who, at the end of the program, will transition into a full-time role within ABB Canada.

The Early Career Program includes the following foundational elements :

Peer mentoring

Intensive, on-the-job training

Individualized career and leadership coaching

Multiple in-person immersions with a focus on learning & development, networking, and executive interaction & exposure opportunities

Your responsibilities

  • Learn about the relevant business function or product line
  • Complete meaningful projects
  • Engage with peers, supervisors and mentors to develop professional and technical skills
  • Participate in regular professional development opportunities including webinars and in-person immersions
  • Live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business
  • Your background

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and graduating by May 2020 OR recent graduate with less than 2 years of work experience
  • Preferred GPA : minimum 3.0
  • Self-starter with a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to collaborate with others and learn from diverse sets of individuals
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal. French knowledge is an asset.
