About the Role

This exciting role is focused on developing and delivering Sustainalytics’ Corporate ESG Insights. As part of the SCS team’s value proposition to corporate clients, ESG services such as in-depth Risk Rating trainings and tailored industry insights enable companies to achieve a wide variety of sustainability objectives.

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Solutions , the Senior Associate will be uniquely positioned to scale this offering and other value add services for corporates.

Key aspects of the role include providing detailed ESG Risk Rating trainings to corporate senior management and tailored analysis of company performance across material issues and the industry group.

It will also involve engaging with internal research, commercial and product management teams to support the needs of corporate clients.

For this unique opportunity we are seeking a strong communicator with research and analytical skills, as well as a commercial and client-centric approach, who thrives in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct presentations and training sessions for corporate clients over video calls and in-person, if needed, on Sustainalytics’ ESG Risk Rating, research processes, peer analysis and best practice;
  • Undertake comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis on a client’s ESG performance compared to industry peers, leveraging Sustainalytics’ ESG Risk Rating and analysis;
  • Work with multiple internal teams to develop timely and high-quality trainings and services to help clients leverage their ratings and ESG insights for specific applications;
  • Train other team members and contribute to strategic development of new value add services for our clients;
  • Collaborate with other Corporate ESG Insights team members and manage potential personnel

    Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sustainability experience in a corporation and / or corporate consultancy;
  • Ability to conduct advanced peer sustainability analysis (quantitative and qualitative);
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Passion for sustainability and demonstrated interest in sustainable finance;
  • Degree(s) in related discipline (business, finance, sustainability, engineering);
  • Client-centric and commercial approach;
  • Collaboration with stakeholders from multiple internal teams and levels;
  • Ability to work towards strict deadlines and high-quality standards;
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment
