Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the BRP Operator is responsible for transporting raw materials and recyclable materials throughout the plant.

Rotating 8 hour Shifts Monday to Saturday : 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6amPay Rate : $23.42 per hour Monday- Friday $35.13 per hour Saturday (Overtime Rate)

Key Accountabilities

Transport raw materials, scrap and recyclable materials throughout plant manually or using forklift, overhead crane or other powered equipmentSort and pick materials on a production conveyorClean work areas and equipmentMay assist with minor repairs and maintenanceOperate cleaning equipment such as industrial power washers, vacuums, sweepers and floor cleanersPerform other duties as assigned by management

Experience, Qualifications & Education

Completion of secondary schoolExperience in a related production line occupation or as a warehouse worker Forklift and / or Overhead crane experience an assetOHSA Rights and Responsibilities, WHMIS trainingPhysical strength is required for manual material handling materialsLong standing, walking and some minimal climbing of ladders and stairsWearing and maintenance of required PPE including respirator mask
