In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the effective management of our Internal Investigations and Occupational Health & Safety programs.
As it relates to the Internal Investigations program , you will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex workplace issues and complaints.
Conduct investigations and maintain appropriate records in a confidential manner. Draft investigation findings reports and make recommendation for corrective actions, including time-frames to the appropriate Parties.
Support the corrective actions by providing expertise, advice and clarification as needed by the Parties affected by the issue or complaint.
Prepare and write complex ER HR Investigation reports and summaries of findings with supporting documentation that is fair, impartial, and represents the facts and analyzes investigative results to determine whether the facts suggest a violation of policy and or legislation.
As it relates to Occupational Health & Safety program , you will be responsible for ensuring the organization’s OHS program in place delivers on all requirements as defined by relevant provincial legislation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and management of claims, return to work programs, policy development, compliance, projects and reporting.
Working collaboratively with Operations, the role will be strategically focused to ensure progressive initiatives are assessed and implemented to improve employee support and realize cost savings.
