  • Responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Overhaul and install new equipment.
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts.
  • Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.What you will need to succeed in this role : Journeyman Millwright certificationMust have Red Seal Ticket0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Bottling and can line maintenance experience in the food / packaging goods industry is an asset.Prior diagnostic / troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.

    Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge is an asset and highly recommendedThe ability to work rotating shifts to cover the plants operational needs, including overtimeAbility to obtain a 4th class boiler ticket is mandatoryStrong trouble shooting skills and the ability to work efficiently under time restraintsBasic computer skills.

    Ability to follow manufacturer’s specifications and schematics.Requires the ability to lift 50lbs.Must have own hand tools.
