Maintenance Planner - Toronto
The Opportunity :
To provide support to the maintenance department in Preventative Maintenance and Work Order planning & purchasing,
A snap shot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do :
Prepare weekend work schedule and arrange external resources as necessary i.e. welders electricians and services. Summarize and submit report for weekend maintenance activities
Review and help manage work order backlog
Manage Kronos timekeeping and assist in the coordination of vacations
Provide monthly reports on inventory value, delinquent work orders, down time, overtime
Track and report on maintenance work order compliance
Fulfill all Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, WHIMS, CFIA, MSDS and MLF policy requirements. Participate in audits Food Safety, BRC and Health & Safety.
Update and maintain all Contractor paperwork requirements, Confidentiality, WSIB Certificates,
Maintain current and update information on Maintenance SOP’s, Food grade approved products and relative MSDS
Schedule PM & PDM work with Contractors, track and update service records
Prepare NOPRI reporting documentation for MOE
Ensure equipment certification / calibration schedule complies
Track plant energy consumption (water, gas, electricity), coordinate annual Energy day activities
Back up for MRO Purchaser and participate in purchasing aspects of projects

What you will bring :
The successful candidate will be results-oriented, thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment, and have the ability to develop positive working relationships with all employees. Candidates must have :
Poultry processing experience an asset
Good understanding of food processing and regulatory requirements
Strong computer and problem solving / analysis process skills including Excel, Word and CMS. SAP knowledge highly valued.
The ability to multi task in a fast pace environment and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills with effective organizational skills
Good understanding of maintenance practices in a 24 hour / 7 day requirements
