ParcelPal is looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO! We are looking for highly motivated , organized ,

and reliable individuals to join our management team and assist the CEO directly in a number of areas. This is a ground floor opportunity to be part of a growing, publicly-traded technology and logistics

company.

This is a full-time, permanent position .

Duties Include :

Heavy calendar management - coordinates heavy, complex meeting schedule which often include international participants. Includes the management of calendars, related correspondence, meeting details, logistics coordination.

Events - Coordinates events and executive meetings, from recurring staff meetings, to Town Hall meetings. Provides project management, budget management, space requirements, IT coordination, and all other support required for these various events and meetings.

Board Preparation - Prepares and manages communication, materials and meeting preparation for Board of Directors with perfect execution.

Powerpoint and Word Documents - Prepares electronic files with validated ability to proofread for spelling and grammar.

Office support †Provides back up support as needed for Executive Assistant, also as part of admin team coordinates phone and vacation coverage.

Travel coordination- Leads and coordinates travel itineraries and related meetings, which are sometimes international. Includes the coordination of calendars, travel plans, expense reimbursements, filing, etc.

Flexibility- Able to be flexible with hours and accessibility.

All applicants must satisfy the following requirements :

  • Must possess valid class 5 driver's license
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills : ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, and coworkers.
  • Must be tech savvy .
  • Pass Criminal background check
  • Must be coachable and have a willingness to continue training and upgrade skills relating to management.
  • Excellent English, both oral and written communications skills required .
  • Knowledge of stress management , conflict resolution , team leadership and sense of comradery are essential to your success in this position.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail .
  • Ideal Candidates :

  • Will have a post-secondary education (diploma), preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management.
  • Preferably 2- years work experience in operations or logistics
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 360 and other Office related tech.
  • Familiarity with Worksafe B.C. / Employment Standards / Ministry of Transportation policies & regulations.

    Compensation based on experience.
