We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your experience and knowledge to our community as a dedicated Outreach Support Worker with our Community Mental Health in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Build on your education and career experience as you :

Provide outreach community support services and assist in the mental health and substance use treatment of our clients. In addition, you will :

  • Observe, interview and assess client behaviours to identify and respond to client needs
  • Encourage and promote client independence and self sufficiency
  • Maintain client records by documenting requested care and client progress
  • Provide life skills training, coaching, advocacy, and support clients and their caregivers / family.
  • Participate in providing substance use treatment, home finding and general housing support
  • To join our team you have :

  • Completed the Community Mental Health Worker Certification or Social Services Worker Diploma
  • Two (2) years of recent related experience
  • Current CPR and Food Safe certificates
  • Valid Class Five (5) BC Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
