Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Project Manager for Options Analysis phase to modernize legacy risk assessment systems and improve risk assessment capabilities.
The scope of this task consists of assisting the business teams in achieving all of the required deliverables using sound and proven Project Management techniques.
The contractor must be willing to take on the role of mentor / coach within the project, and demonstrate a commitment to fostering teamwork, knowledge transfer and information sharing.
The contractor will not have the final responsibility of determining cost or inclusion within the phases(s). This will include working with the project team to set up the Work Breakdown Structure and associated Financial Breakdown Structure for the project.
Identify, assess and continually manage project-related scope, risks, issues and changes.
Develop, update, maintain and monitor MS Project schedules
Create project schedule reporting as required to track progress
Monitor project progress and communicate and document gaps, risks, anomalies of concern and escalate to manager as required.
Develop, maintain and execute project documentation including work breakdown structures, financial breakdown structures, timelines and other project related plans.
Liaise with technical and subject matter experts who contribute to the project as part of a matrixed team.
Follow structured approach set out for the project and use existing formats and templates that may be provided.
Use the Agency standard tools, practices and methodologies where they exist for documenting requirements
Create documentation for transfer of knowledge.
