Among their responsibilities and duties, the Instructor : Develops and delivers curriculum and programs based on objectives and in line with the integrated-
Ensures timely marking of assignments; Is available for student advising during office hours; Provides on-going student progress evaluation, follow-
teach in a multilevel setting; do tutoring work; do administrative duties; assist in student events; and other relevant tasks.
The position will require additional hours for meetings and events, including days, evenings, and weekends, and be subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.
It is expected that the instructor work on-site at the English Language Centre.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate delivery of material in a constructivist classroom Strong communication skills and team work High level of intercultural competence and communication High level of creativity Very strong critical incident management and conflict resolution ability Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate a workload with multiple projects and deadlines Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse clientele Demonstrate reliability and good organizational and time management skills Education : Completed undergraduate degree in TESL / Applied Linguistics or a closely related area Master’s Degree preferred TESL Canada approved certificate.
At least four years of related experience in an Academic English teaching environment, or a combination of education and experience.
