An opportunity now exists for an exceptionally talented human resources leader to assume the role of Director, Employee Relations.

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources and People Development, the Director Employee Relations is a member of the VP's leadership team.

In this key role, the Director will provide strategic direction to the delivery of a wide range of employee programs and services, ensuring best in class HR advisory services, providing strategic direction to the development of bargaining strategies and leading the Institute's bargaining committees in collective bargaining.

The Director, Employee Relations should be an experienced, strategic HR professional with experience in employee / labour relations within a large, complex, multi-

union environment. He or she will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to build and manage a team of reporting HR / LR practitioners across multiple disciplines.

A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and degree is preferred, although an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The role is based at BCIT's main campus in Burnaby.
