As a Senior Engineer in our Water Resources Group, we'll count on you to :
Eng. designation is required. 10+ years of diversified engineering experience in water resources engineering. Experience in the planning, design and management of drainage infrastructure preferred.
Significant experience in hydrology and hydraulics applications, the design and analysis of stormwater management facilities, storm sewers and watercourse crossings.
Knowledge and experience in watercourse management including erosion control, slope stability and natural channel design.
Demonstrated knowledge of provincial policies related to water resources, stormwater management and municipal infrastructure design.
Demonstrated experience in hydrologic / hydraulic modelling using software such as MIKE, InfoWorks, Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, and EPA / XP / PC SWMM.
Proficient in the use of MS Office tools. Demonstrated experience in the application of GIS software (e.g. ArcMap) and Civil3D in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and drainage design.
Experience in the 2-D hydraulic modelling (e.g. HEC-RAS 5.0, MIKE 21 and MIKE FLOOD). Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with varying teams and discipline areas. Demonstrated project management skills desirable. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
