As the Area Sales Manager you will develop, manage and grow enterprise level relationships with clients and channel partners across Canada.

Your success will be measured primarily by your ability to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets. How you will do it

  • Support and foster a collaborative partnership with Tyco Security Products contract representative force with a joint goal of growing revenue for the assigned region.
  • Track and report timely and accurate information relative to business performance and market conditions : eg. forecasting, business plans, periodic business reviews.
  • Develop new channel partners, maintain strong relationship with internal / external customers.
  • Participate and support various marketing promotions to increase market awareness of Tyco Security Products products / solutions.
  • Required

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in enterprise level security related products and solutions (preference for experience with Video Security, Access Control, Location Based Security and Intrusion Security)
  • Proven track record of success in managing a large territory
  • Channel Selling Experience.
  • Good management skills and strong personality.
  • Experience conducting customer presentations and demonstrations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to travel up to 65% of the time
  • Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree, networking or IT is a plus.
