Job Description

This position performs duties necessary to maintain a sanitary and safe environment for all clients / patients, staff and visitors of the hospital.

Contribute to safe, quality care by

Managing a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Addressing and resolving issues in a productive, respectful manner.

Exercising sound professional judgment and using best practice guidelines.

Contributing to a safe, inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.

What must you have?

Completion of Grade 10 education or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Demonstrates ability to follow oral and written instructions and to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Must be able to perform such manual tasks as mopping and buffing floors, wall washing, changing cubicle and window drapes, moving furniture, vacuuming, cleaning and polishing.

Proven attendance record.
