What you’ll do

  • Work cross functionally with Merchandising, Digital and functional FP&A teams to develop monthly / quarterly eCommerce P&L reporting supported by meaningful analysis on key variances
  • Provide subject matter expertise in eCommerce financial results at Canadian Tire Retail, FGL Sports and Mark’s banners
  • Support annual budget, monthly / quarterly forecasts, and monitor results
  • Partner with the business to conduct cost-benefit analysis on digital projects
  • Manage the 3-year outlook models and process for eCommerce
  • Support the continuous improvement of the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes within the team to improve efficiency and quality
  • Present analytical insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Lead a variety of ad hoc projects

    What you bring

  • University Degree in Finance, Analytics, Mathematics, Accounting, or business related discipline
  • Achieved or working towards CPA or CFA
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and modeling
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent story telling skills with the ability to influence and persuade different points of view
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Highly driven with exceptionally strong work ethic
  • Experience with Hyperion Suite (HFM, SmartView, etc.), Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL is an asset but not required.
