Studio Manager Digital Content Factory

The Objective of this role is to manage studio operations, equipment and staffing needs to meet our business requirements.

This is a new role as we transition our business operations from external production agencies to our own dedicated team.

All aspects (Photography, copy, video, staffing) will transition into our newly renovated studio space and operate out of our head office.

Role Expectations :

  • Work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment while collaborating with various stakeholders including executive level managers.
  • Outfit and maintain all studio equipment to the needs of the business pertaining to photography, photo editing, video, copywriting, and translation.
  • Oversee / execute asset tagging with metadata, file saving to internal servers, and uploading as needed to Shopify.
  • Develop and recommend best practices on process control, and output by incorporating feedback from business units.
  • Use strong organization and attention to detail to tailor content that exceeds our needs
  • Track production progress on a daily basis and generate progress reports as needed.
  • Identify and flag possible setbacks and assist to strategize solutions, prioritize allocation of resources and execute the solutions
  • Prepare and plan weekly production meetings with Marketing
  • Maintain crew and staffing requirements Source staff as needed.
  • Role Requirements

  • Knowledge of studio equipment standards (lighting, cameras, etc)
  • Coordinating logistics for photo and video shoots; including, inventory planning, time for set up, lighting equipment maintenance and technical considerations.
  • Developing, capturing, producing and fine-tuning studio-quality photographs, copy and video
  • Develop in collaboration with marketing and agency partners best practices for asset creation.
  • Experience working in production studio environment in a leadership position.
