DEX defines, builds, launches and manages Prime and non-Prime, customer-facing delivery programs such as Same-Day delivery, and the CX features presented to millions of customers every day from Search through Checkout.

DEX also owns the ship options, associated speeds and pricing we offer, and the underlying systems required to deliver this experience.

Together, DEX is changing how customers experience delivery from the speed, convenience, and selection features they see on the site every day, to launching Prime delivery benefits and other new programs for customers around the world.

The WW Delivery Experience team continues to innovate with delivery speed initiatives for customers with the objective ensuring Amazon continues to own fast’ in the minds of our customers.

This position will own the product on a completely new initiative that will impact millions of customers globally. The scope of this role is to drive product decisions that improve the delivery experience that we offer to our customers and the speed of our deliveries.

To do so, you will build and lead a program across multiple Amazon teams with the goals of defining the delivery experience bar for our customers, building the framework to illuminate internal and external capabilities, and driving decisions about how to respond to insights.

The right candidate will be able to assess what is most important for customers and our business, act boldly and lead change.

Tactically, the product owner will manage the execution once the vision has been aligned across all stakeholder groups and ensure timely launches of the product.

Successful candidates will have a history of driving deep insights from complex data, have exceptional business judgement including financial acumen to quickly assess the viability of key decisions, and the ability to write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for senior leadership at Amazon.

The ability to influence cross functionally and across the organization, at all levels, will be absolutely critical to success in this role.

This is a high visibility role from Day 1.

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience working inside and outside the US
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, logistics / operations, consulting or related work
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound business judgment, confirmed ability to influence others, and a consistent track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Strong financial acumen to quantitatively assess decisions quickly, and engage in complex business decisions
  • Proven data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Data Analysis tools
  • Experience in benchmarking and competitive strategy
  • Experience with advanced statistics, operations research and machine learning techniques
  • Experience working with teams across geographies and business units
