The Role :
As Business Development Associate for the private label program, you are responsible for driving growth by finding and developing new opportunities, liaising with internal and external team members to facilitate sales growth activities, as well as analyzing performance data and developing growth strategies.
This role involves assisting the Director in creating and executing the vision for the program, while building scalability and contributing to its long term success.
What you'll do :
Analyze performance data and develop ideas for improving the existing program
Research private label growth opportunities in targeted markets, channels, and from competitors
Develop a solid understanding of the winning formula to drive success in private label while maintaining the integrity of the program requirements in areas such as : margin minimums, content requirements, and product health
Collaborate with internal teams to assess private label opportunities and facilitate the process from ideas to strategy implementation and further manage the project to completion
Responsible for driving private label KPIs and assisting with managing the program P&L
Manage the overall positioning of the private label brands, including determining target audiences, brand profiles, product assortment, and go-to-market strategies
Who you are :
Previous experience in account management, business development, or marketing
Strong analytical skills with a potential background in data science
A high degree of business acumen
Knowledge in e-commerce and online marketing is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Creative mindset, likes to think outside the box and not afraid to explore uncharted territories
Fast learner and knows exactly how to apply new skills when appropriate
Tech-savvy and has the ability to understand and communicate in technical and non-technical terms
Organized and can manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently
Sales focused and driven by KPIs
