We have an immediate opening for an Investor Services Associate in our FATCA and CRS Team within the in our Mississauga office at 5255 Orbitor Drive.
As a member of the AEOI team, this experienced Specialist will join a team responsible for managing SS&C clients’ AEOI related tax requirements to ensure compliance with tax regulations including but not limited to FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) annual reporting.

Manage the day-to-day interactions with Investor Services Team related to FATCA and CRS requirements and process.
Ongoing Training and Development
Liaise with internal and external clients to help facilitate the FATCA and CRS onboarding process of investors
Ensure clients remain compliant with current and future FATCA and CRS requirements
Manage the FATCA and CRS compliance in a number of jurisdictions, including review of documentation, reportable account information, and accuracy of information returns.
Review W-8 / 9 forms, withholding statements, self-certification, and other documents for purposes of U.S. Chapter 3, FATCA, and CRS compliance.
Ensure documentation is properly maintained over time, including aging of forms based on various validity requirements.
Manage internal and external clients email queries receive in our Team Inbox
Comply with department policies and procedures for processing of above activities.
Participate in system and process enhancement.
Generate and review monthly AEOI investor status reports for client distribution.
Perform other related duties as assigned by department management.
Minimum 3+years’ experience in Hedge / Private Equity Fund administration
Knowledge of tax rules and regulations such as FATCA (Chapter 4 and IGA regimes), Common Reporting Standard (CRS), and US withholding tax requirements (Chapter 3) is a plus.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite, specifically Excel
Overtime may be required to meet Client and Department deliverables
Due to global client base requirements; coverage on Canadian holidays may be necessary
Strong Communication skills both oral and written
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
Ability to work in a demanding environment and adjust to multiple demands; shifting priorities; ambiguity and rapid change
