Our government client seeks the services of an Editor / Technical Writer on an as needed basis.


  • Significant (at least 5 years) and recent (1 years from date of contract) experience working within a federal government setting.
  • Must have experience with parliamentary planning and reporting - Departmental Performance Report; Report on Plans and Priorities;
  • Management Accountability Framework, etc.
  • Must have significant (at least 5 years) experience working as an editor.
  • Experience preparing / reviewing presentations, decks and briefing notes for line management and senior executives in a federal government setting.
  • Must possess excellent verbal skills - to be assessed in interview
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes. Adobe, Visio, html are assets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize workload and realign priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - to be assessed via Reference Check
