Part Time Administrative Assistant - York Region (16 hours per week)

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day :
Completion of the preparation and administration of payroll for employees, while auditing payroll processing reports for accuracy
Input payroll data accurately and ensure it is accurate and complete in full, including new hire information, terminations, and payroll changes on a regular basis and make adjustments as required
Resolves issues related to the payroll input and providing information to location administrators as required
Enter into payroll software, additional changes such as vacation, manual adjustments and check for accuracy prior to submitting payroll for review
Ensures accurate month end billing / invoicing completed on time
Generate invoices, processing, tracking and following up with unpaid invoices
Data Entry as required
Staff orientations as required
Monitoring and tracking of all client and segment related documents
Maintains inventory and ordering of all office supplies
Responsible and accountable for asset management
Primary contact and liaison for IT management
Maintains Staff roster / client contact information
Assists HR with acquiring service requirements and workplace injury reporting
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful
A post-secondary education in medical office / business administration considered an asset
1 to 2 years’ of experience in Payroll is a MUST
1 to 2 years’ experience in a reception or customer service role considered an asset
Well-developed skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a publishing program
A professional customer service attitude
Time management and prioritization skills
Effective problem-solving skills.
