Skip is growing at a rapid pace and we need to expand our elite team of product owners, designers, and engineers to advance our existing technology.
We’re looking for high performance Product Owners who are used to working fast, thinking critically, and communicating effectively with designers, developers and business teams to solve tough problems.
What you’ll be doing :
Develop deep user understandings from customer / technical / operations / business perspectives.
Execute projects to benefit those perspectives by scoping, liaising with tech and design teams, resolving / raising blockers, keeping teams focused on priorities, etc.
Serve as a primary point of contact for technical support issues.
Hunting down business challenges and opportunities in our product stack using input from users, operational teams, and data from our internal systems.
Prioritizing challenges and opportunities into a backlog for the design and development teams based on company strategy.
Working with users, operational teams, and your own intuition to determine what the requirements for solving these problems or opportunities would be.
Communicating these requirements to design and engineering teams and managing these development projects through to release.
Identifying the implications of new releases for the operational teams.
Monitoring the solutions after release to determine if they were successful and how to further maximize their impact.
People we’re looking for :
Have at least two years of experience working with technical products and teams
An ability to share a nuanced opinion on what makes a product great
High achievers willing to roll up their sleeves to learn about our users
Business analyst, product experience, technical design or engineering background considered a strong asset
Product design intuition by naturally understanding user sensibilities
Take ownership over their work and their outcomes
Are passionate about building world-class products
Execute high-value projects with multiple stakeholders, while dealing with competing priorities
