The Home Solutions and Complementary Channel (HS&CC) is responsible for the marketing of TELUS Future Friendly Home (FFH) Solutions including product and offer strategy as well as channel and sales execution.

The HS & CC Business Enablement Team is dedicated to supporting the business by providing trending, analysis, and tools to enable decision making, improve operational productivity, and drive business transformation.

We are searching for an individual with extensive campaign strategy knowledge and leading edge experience in campaign execution.

The successful candidate must be a highly flexible individual, capable of extracting and manipulating raw source data in SAS / SQL, analysing it and identifying the best-

in-class lead generation for marketing campaigns.

  • As an integral part of the Home Solutions Business Enablement Team, you will support marketing programs end-to-end and be accountable for campaign performance;
  • sharing your successes via Tableau reporting you build.

  • Optimize campaign strategy and execution
  • Monitor to make sure campaign outcome is aligned with expectation
  • Identify and analyze the root causes of performance breakdowns and / or inefficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Translate business requirements into data specifications
  • Locate, interpret, and integrate new sources of standard and nonstandard data to support ad-hoc analysis
  • Write scripts / code / automation for data extraction and reporting
  • Present analysis results and recommendations in business language in various forums
  • Provide direction to cross functional teams, including both technical and marketing teams
  • Qualifications

    You're the missing piece of the puzzle...

  • 5+ years’ working experience in a market / business intelligence, database marketing and data warehousing environment
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft (MS) Excel
  • Fundamental UNIX knowledge, automation, SFTP, and server administration
  • Sound knowledge of customer analytics, data warehousing, predictive modeling, market segmentation and analysis
  • Strong business acumen
  • Keen ability to bridge strategic marketing concepts with data representations
  • Superior communication skills to adapt to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to effectively engage stakeholders to establish cross functional alignment for projects
  • Takes ownership, initiates improvements, and is self-directed
  • Experienced at resolving ambiguity and adapting to rapid change
  • Detail oriented; ability to regulate level of analysis precision to the business decisions at hand
  • Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
  • Great-to-haves...

  • Good understanding of TELUS FFH and Mobility billing systems and analytics databases desired
  • Familiarity with the structure of TELUS FFH products and services
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Big Data including Splunk & Hadoop
  • Sqoop, Oozie & Spark experience
  • Java / Python knowledge
  • Experience integrating with Cloud-based systems and solutions
