Position Summary :
CS203 Conceptual Issues in Communication
An analysis of key perspectives in communication theory with a focus on central concepts. Concepts may include : communication, representation, ideology, hegemony, culture industries, the public sphere, self and other, power, discourse, social difference, globalization and the network society.
Primary source readings will be used.
