About the role
We are looking for a Procurement PMO Specialist to manage Rio Tinto’s supplier outline agreements ensuring they are regularly updated, stored in the central repository system and easily assessable for reporting purposes.
Another key component to this role will be the requirement to provide efficient / accurate analytics on products / services spend so that the business is able to make informed decisions minimising wastage, reducing cycle times and finding cost saving opportunities.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who has strong category management / procurement reporting experience, is confident in the use of SAP and Ariba and has strong analytical skills to present meaningful data interpretation.
Reporting to the Manager - Mining Equipment, you will be :
Develop a Project Management Office (PMO) for reporting across all procurement projects.
Streamline the reporting and the procurement process to ensure that the procurement managers have more time to spend on driving value creation rather than on reporting
Regularly engage with the business on all procurement projects to ensure the Ariba system is up to date / stored with the current supplier outline agreements
Extract spend, cost saving and sourcing data. Then, manipulating and interpreting the data to present business recommendations
Coordinate and consolidate information from the contracts to provide actionable reports
Establish reporting protocols and work with the team to suggest process / system improvements
