Reporting to the Project Manager, the Warehouse / Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment and products at the project site.

This position is based in Regina, SK area on a client site.

Working Conditions

40-hour work week (may be subject to change to meet project needs)

Overtime as required

Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions

Working in and around noise and dust

Maintain tool inventory, including the sign out and sign of tools to trades staff.

Review shipping orders, requisition and packing slips to determine items to be received, gathered, and distributed.

Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Maintain the inventory storage system and ensure that materials are stored properly.

Fill requisitions, work orders, or request for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to appropriate work areas.

Ensure that materials have the correct identifying codes as per the inventory storage system.

Interact with trades workers to distribute parts and materials.

Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed to maintain an accurate count.

Arrange materials and parts in specified sequence for trades workers.

Maintain electronic records.

Lead and participate in corporate initiatives as requested.

High School Diploma

3-5 years’ experience working in a similar role

Previous experience in industrial construction an asset

Advanced proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Knowledge of SAP an asset

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks independently with strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment

Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships

Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills, including effective prioritization and follow up

Self-motivated, action oriented and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently on routine tasks with a positive attitude and exceptional customer service

Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment

Highly developed interpersonal skills and superior written and verbal communication skills
