This is a 9 month contract position.
Reports to the Senior Manager Internal Control.
What you will do :
Identify and assess risk associated with Nutrien’s Information Technology (IT) environment
Work closely with process owners to support and maintain an effective IT control environment
Conduct IT SOX based work to evaluate the security, reliability, integrity and governance of the IT environment and application systems across all platforms utilized by Nutrien’s in-scope business units
Document testing results and provide recommendations for control deficiencies identified; work with the company's external auditors to discuss their findings and final solutions
Conduct appropriate follow-up to ensure deficiencies have been effectively addressed
Interact with IT, Finance and senior management concerning findings and recommendations resulting from SOX and the external auditor's work
What you will bring :
Bachelor degree with at least 2-3 years IT SOX or audit experience in a large public company or public accounting firm
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
Strong understanding of, and experience with, IT risk and control frameworks, SOX based requirements for major corporations, including COSO and COBIT
Experience with large ERP systems, preferably SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft
Proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office Suite of products
Able to work independently with limited direct supervision
Commitment to deadlines and attention to detail
Previous SOX experience would be an asset
