As the Systems Application Coordinator , you will draw on your knowledge of clinical Cardiac / Cardiovascular Services, and bring your expertise to proficiently oversee the application of state of the art technology.

As part of the Cardiac Services team, your work will align with Fraser Health's strategic plan supporting our goals to improve patient outcomes and guide us in making our operations more sustainable, providing concrete actions to help move our health authority into the future.

Your ability to navigate in a complex and changing environment and to see patterns and relationships will enable you to identify and prioritize improvements for clinical Information Technology service delivery.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Develop and use your expert knowledge of FHA processes to provide support and advice to users of specialized IT equipment.
  • Use your analytical skills on projects to implement solutions and help Cardiac Services to obtain the right technology to support their needs.
  • Use your attention to detail and an ability to anticipate cause and effect to tackle problems with service requests and services themselves.
  • Develop project plans for future evolution of data toolsets within Interventional Cardiology.
  • Document requirements and processes to improve clinical service in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
  • Use your Reporting experience to analyze data and provide insight within Interventional Cardiology.
  • Liaise with Information Management and Biomedical Engineering to ensure cross program and cross platform data compatibility.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related discipline.
  • Three years' recent experience with information systems.
  • Knowledge of clinical cardiac / cardiovascular services and processes are a definite asset.
  • We may consider applicants with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • The ability to organize and prioritize work, deal effectively with others, work independently and as a member of a team, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
