Amazon's Gift Card business is rapidly growing and significantly contributes to Amazon's profitability. The Gift-Cards tech team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented inventive Sr.

Technical Program Manager. You will work with talented and nimble teams of engineers, bringing together the Product Managers, Software Development Managers and engineers to align on requirements and process them into robust designs.

Responsibilities strategic planning, project management for software within the team, and management of resources across teams.

Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery.

The business requires creative engineering balanced with high quality and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Contribute substantially to the vision, strategy and roadmap for delivering business facing feature to improve the Gift-Cards business.
  • Align key internal and external partners to ensure scalable solutions and excellence in execution.
  • Lead prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, schedule, performance and cost.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, roadmap, financial, and / or technical goals.
  • Specify requirements for the technological systems and tools required to support the content operations business roadmap and goals.
  • Partner with other Amazon groups as necessary to implement the strategy and manage exception processes
  • Above all, you will ensure we protect Amazon's high quality customer experience .

  • 3+ years of experience in technical program management with a proven track record of delivering large and complex programs
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Experience with business applications such as Word, Excel and Project
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner and have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment.

  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
  • Strong collaboration skills pulling teams together and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
  • Proven track-record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills
