In this role, as part of the Global Talent and Change Management Center of Excellence, you will use your proven skills to develop, implement, and deliver Husky’s skill development programs ensuring our teams can meet the needs of today, but more importantly, those of the future.

Please note that this role is based on site at our head office in Bolton, Ontario.
A day in the life of this role, looks like the following :
Partner with internal customers to evaluate performance gaps and / or organizational needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions through research and a consultative process
Write, design, and maintain content for learning programs. This includes, but is not limited to design and curriculum plan documents, facilitator and participant deliverables, e-Learning modules, job-aids, activities, scenarios, scripts, etc.
Using best-practice adult learning principles and the 70 / 20 / 10’ framework for learning & development to create skill development roadmaps that support the transformational change of our team members
Oversees the leadership development and executes on its sustainment program
Identifying, engaging and partnering with vendors and service providers to deliver solutions that meet our business objectives in the area of learning and development
Build a program to partner with post-secondary institutions to understand their curriculum and work together to provide input into future manufacturing-based skill development
As the ideal candidate, you bring the following to Husky :
Post-secondary education with specialization in adult education, human resources, organizational development or relevant experience
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience designing, developing and executing learner-centric / strategic solutions to address skill gaps.
Familiar with the principles of ADDIE methodology
Strong technical aptitude including experience with rapid authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and / or 3 and Adobe Captivate
Experience with large-scale, organizational change efforts, preferably in a matrixed organization
Experience building development programs in an organization driving automation and digitalization
Experience developing online content an asset
