The primary function of the Customer ServiceAssociate (CSA) is to assist customers with all of their shoppingneeds. This includes assisting customers in the selection,demonstration, preparation and loading of merchandise. The CSA isrequired
to respond to customer inquiries and support themthroughout their shopping experience including promotingcustomer
loyalty plans and / or extendedprotection / replacement plans where appropriate. The CSA is alsoresponsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment byconducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping storeareas clean and organized, and monitoring for potential theft orsecurity risks.
Lastly, the CSA is responsible for completing allother duties as assigned.Requires morning, afternoon, and eveningavailability any day of the week.
Required to work a schedule asdetermined by sales, customer, and business needs, but may bechanged by store management based on the needs of thestore.
Requests to be scheduled off for a specific dayrequire advanced notification and approval bysupervisor.
Hourly Full Time, Part Time or Seasonal : Generally scheduled 40, 24 to 30, or 0 to 40 hours per weekrespectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of thestore.
This position reports to a Department Manager and does nothave direct reports.
6 monthsexperience using a computer, including inputting, accessing,modifying, or outputtinginformation.
6 monthsexperience using a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun,palm pilot, tablet, iPod) to enter, access, and outputinformation.
Degree inBusiness, Retail Management, Specialty related to department (e.g.,design, appliances) or related field OR Certification in traderelated to department (e.
g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawnand garden).
1 year retail experience identifying andselling products based on customer needs, including credit cards,installations, ali-on sales, and explaining warranties, productfeatures, and benefits.
1 year retail experience providingcustomer service, including identifying and resolving customerissues, assisting customers in locating product, greetingcustomers, answering phones, building relationships with customers,and thanking customers for their business.
1 year retailmerchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery,stocking, downstocking, facing / fronting product, pricing,maintaining signage, and housekeeping.
1 year retailexperience in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing,electrical, lawn and garden).
1 year experience in acustomer service position at other home improvement or hardwareretailer in related department (e.g.
kitchen, plumbing,electrical, lawn and garden).
1 year experience working inany department at a Lowe's retail store.
Lifts up to 25pounds without assistance; may lift up to 40 pounds with or withoutassistance.
The Customer Service Associate - Sales Floormay be required to perform job activities, with appropriateintermittent relief where applicable, under difficult workconditions such as in extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, atheights, while exposed to constant / intermittent sounds (ifapplicable).
