Position Overview :

CIBC Mellon is committed to partnering with both CIBC and Bank of New York Mellon to provide the Canadian Institutional marketplace with the most comprehensive suite of Asset Servicing products and services.

This individual contributor role will take the lead in driving the success of this initiative by selling our products and services to both new and existing clients

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and pitch influential data and technology demonstrations to prospects, clients, and consultants across business lines with Asset Servicing
  • Build narrative into portal demonstrations; overall quality of solutions and relatability to audience
  • Generate dialog for more engaging presentations
  • Collect feedback and gain insights around clients challenges
  • Leverage known strengths as areas of focus / differentiation
  • Be an active participant in the sales process with strategic clients and prospects building a technology persona and roadmap of their information technology needs
  • Tighten integration and collaboration with Digital Office and Global Product Management
  • Drive innovative development though continuity
  • Evolve & modernize digital related RFP responses into a more standardized approach
  • Create and maintain solutions case study catalog to promote education based selling
  • Drive Digital adoption & education along with promoting our data capabilities
  • Multi-purpose video snippets
  • NEXEN video in collaboration with corporate marketing
  • Ensure the successful transition of the client to our Internal Onboarding and Service Delivery teams by thoroughly communicating the client’s expectations and what has been sold
  • Intelligence building
  • Study competitive landscape to identify strengths and weaknesses
  • Stay aware of changing market conditions and trends within the industry to ensure our digital solutions remain relevant and up-to-date
  • Maintain a level of understanding of CIBC Mellon’s technology, digital and data capabilities in order to better serve our clients
  • Promote leading digital and data solutions in a variety of mediums such as industry conferences and BNY Mellon hosted forums
  • Help, when available, on data and digital consulting opportunities with existing client base
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Arts degree in business or marketing or equivalent industry experience with advanced degree preferred
  • 5 to 7 years previous sales experience
  • Demonstrated results in new business development with background in Asset Servicing preferred
