Our valued public sector client is seeking a Senior Application Development Project Manager to support a case management system redesign
The Integras Case Management and Reporting (ICMR) Project’s scope is to enhance the existing Integras application by updating Document Management, Finalization, and Reporting services as well as converting the Java based application from Swing to Angular technologies.
Tasks include :
Developing, maintaining and executing project documentation including work breakdown structures, detailed project plans, roadmap, timelines, resource plans, training plans and other project related plans;
Apply previous Government of Canada Project Management experience to successfully lead and implement project initiatives
Identifying, assessing and continually managing project-related scope, risks, issues and changes;
Reporting progress of the project on an ongoing basis, and at scheduled points in the life cycle to the project sponsors and, if required, to senior management committees;
Tracking proposed budgetary requirements and cost breakdowns;
Gathering and validating impacts and assumptions
Taking the lead in the development, implementation and improvement of strategies and processes to manage risk, change, issues, communication, and reporting processes in a complex environment;
In conjunction with the project sponsor, is responsible for ensuring the necessary project initiation and gating / review processes are completed satisfactorily and on time;
Tracking and reporting progress of the IT project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle to the project stakeholders, and / or senior management committees;
Must haves :
PMP or Prince 2 Certification
Must have at least 7 years experience in; understanding underlying software solution technologies and ability to communicate complex technical concepts both verbally and written to a non-technical audience
