Participate in the development of the written procedures, programs and processes requested by regulatory agencies
Participate in the development and implementation of health and safety programs and policies for employees
Participate in incident investigations (injuries, spills, material damage, etc.)
Identify workplace EHS problems and take the necessary steps to resolve them
Participate in the implementation of the Zero Harm Culture program and monitor it
Assume responsibility for the training program, including the training matrix
Be responsible for environmental and health and safety prevention activities
Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure EHS operations are carried out harmoniously
Take charge of all aspects related to the environment
Develop and evaluate the workplace risk analysis
Participate in the development of return to work programs (worker's compensation program)
Follow up on EHS-related nonconformities
Implement an EHS communication process and send regular communications
Be the EHS member of the rapid response team
Be responsible for personal protective equipment
Participate in internal audits
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent (experience in this field could constitute an equivalence)
Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills
Very good knowledge of French and English (written and spoken)
Understanding of regulations and government standards and of their impact on facilities
Up to 2 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of the above-mentioned key responsibilities and knowledge
