    In this position you will :

  • Mange, lead and mentor claim file handlers
  • Provide direction and supervision to internal claims file handlers on the investigation, negotiation and settlement of multiline property and casualty claims
  • Review incoming file assignments and work load, ensuring appropriate distribution amongst file handlers
  • Responsible for management of data accuracy, reserve management and approval of payments to insured, insurance professionals and vendors by file handlers
  • Perform quality review on claims in compliance with audit requirements, service contract requirements and quality standards
  • Responsible for providing exemplary customer service to clients, branch offices, support departments and service providers
  • Handle escalated complaints and work with file handler and other departments on addressing unresolved and complex issues
  • Assist in training of file handlers, and support on obtaining proper licensing required for role.
  • Ad-hoc additional tasks as needed
  • Here’s what you bring :

  • 5+ years of multiline adjusting / examining experience on property and casualty claims
  • 5+ years on multiline supervision / management experience on property and casualty claims
  • Insurance Broker Level 2 license and / or CIP / FCIP designation
  • Customer Service Champion
  • Experience working with a dynamic management team, and supporting goals of the Claims Team and organization
  • Solid understanding of both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines policies
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment, and a strong team contributor
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Solid communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear and concise direction to both internal and external file handlers
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion are important qualities
  • Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job
