Project management duties will be supporting a portfolio of maintenance projects. We are looking for Project Managers with various disciplines in Electrical, Mechanical and Pipeline expertise.
EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
PM or Engineering experience specifically within a mechanical, electrical or pipeline focus
Experience in the energy / natural gas industry preferably in natural gas gathering, processing and transmission
Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills
Multi-tasker with excellent organizational skills
Proven project management skills with experience in all aspects of the project life cycle.
Experience with NEB and BCOGC permitting requirements
Ability to review drawings and documents from technical stand point and to be able to evaluate work done by engineering firms .
Participate in HAZID and HAZOPs and be able to lead conversations during those meetings
Ability to provide technical bid evaluations with support from other stakeholders if needed and ability to make recommendations for the best interest of the company
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
Supports all phases of projects from inception through completion.
Acts as primary contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with Stakeholders to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for project development to achieve projects requirements.
Establishes project milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project risks and problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications or permits.
Liaise with business functions to understand ongoing needs.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
10+ years of relevant experience.
POSITION CONDITIONS ?
6 month duration, possibility of extension
Average travel will be one week per month to sites across BC
No LOA, but travel expenses will be covered
