Job Description

Reporting to the manager of Web Publishing, this candidate is responsible for implementing and modifying content on various Autodesk web properties.

Using the content management system and other technologies, this candidate will work alongside designers, editors and back-end programmers to keep the Web site current as well as assuring that it adheres to standards of quality and usability.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, update and revise existing online material
  • Create Web pages from graphic source files
  • Manage personal project schedule
  • Assure that code meets pre-established standards
  • Maintain logical structure and file naming conventions of content within existing information architecture
  • Maintain a high level of service with the various internal clients and partners
  • Implement new technologies and develop, document and implement new technical procedures and processes
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to write high quality and well-documented JavaScript, HTML5 and extensive knowledge of CSS technologies
  • Knowledge of cross platform, cross browser compatibility issues
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Understand UI design patterns and deliver Responsive Design;
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation)
  • Experience with React, Redux an asset
  • Experience with versioning tool such as GitHub an asset
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager an important asset
  • Strong communication skills; an ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
  • Strong team player; add value to team efforts; must have the ability to maintain a good rapport with project team members and clients
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-4+ experience in similar role in a medium / large corporate environment or web development firm
