Software Trainer : As a Software Trainer, you’ll be part of our Software team building an agile development culture that delivers exceptional products.

What You’ll Do & How You’ll Make an Impact :

  • Develop and demonstrate an extensive working knowledge of H2Safety’s software products
  • Interact with prospective and existing clients through meetings, training sessions, product demonstrations, presentations, and continued product support
  • Become a trusted advisor by articulating to clients how H2Safety’s software products provide value and can solve their Emergency Response Management and Health, Safety, and Environmental challenges
  • Develop and deliver in-depth H2Safety software presentations, materials, and demonstrations; apply knowledge of H2Safety products when designing content, selecting appropriate delivery mechanisms, and conducting demonstrations
  • Develop and monitor metrics for evaluating product demonstration and training effectiveness
  • Conduct research and liaise with Software team to ensure accurate interpretation of technical data and specifications
  • Determine an effective structure and layout for user manuals, guidance, and training materials for H2Safety’s software products
  • Regularly review technical content and terminology within user manuals, guidance, and training materials; make updates and revisions, as necessary, to improve clarity, impact, flow, meaning, and readability
  • Collaborate with the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) Services, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and External Training teams to ensure H2Safety software products are meeting client requirements
  • Address clients’ questions on the usage of H2Safety software products
  • Stay up to date on current training trends, development, and best practices
  • What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, instructional design, educational technology, information systems, or equivalent
  • 4 years training, education, consulting, presales, and / or information technology (IT) experience in a Software environment
  • Extensive experience conducting virtual and in-person training related to technology
  • Knowledge of training techniques and tools
  • Experience as a technical writer, including consistent and correct use of tense, grammar, spelling, and terminology
  • Broad technology knowledge
  • Ability to effectively present to remote clients using virtual technology
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable speaking to large audiences
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Maintain flexibility to travel to client sites
  • Bonus Experience :
