ParaMed’s Home Support Worker Certification program is a 6-week paid in-class training program that will lead to a career with the ParaMed team.
FT permanent HSW eligible for bonus of $500, $250 within 3 months of hire and $250 following 6 months of hire !
How to qualify for this program?
OSSD or secondary school equivalency is strongly preferred; candidates with a combination of some secondary school education and relevant work history will be given equal consideration
Experience in working with vulnerable groups in a work or volunteer capacity is preferred but not required
Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
A willingness to work every other weekend
Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire
