PLM System User Support & Training Specialist
North Vancouver, BC, CanadaHead Office Information SystemsFull-timeApply for this job Job purpose : As the PLM System Support & Training Specialist, you provide overall business support for the Centric PLM system covering each phase of product creation (design, development, materials, planning and quality).
You provide support for Centric users across the business on the live system, you test new solutions, and you support the training of new users.
Through this role, you will have the opportunity to continuously broaden your business knowledge and to increase your technical skillset.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities : · You continuously build systems knowledge, serving as the subject matter expert on implemented functions of Centric· You test new solution options, report failures, and recommend solutions as required· You educate existing Centric users on how to use advanced features· You support the training of new user groups across the business· You maintain user guides and online help tools· You prepare other system and procedure documentation as needed· You manage user rights and roles within the system (security access)· You provide user support by analyzing, documenting, prioritizing and solving incidents reported by Centric users· You report dysfunctions to the Centric support team as required, contribute to the problem-
solving, and communicate the solution to the business teams· You support the ongoing alignment of data with other systems, such as TAS and SAP· You test Centric upgrades and service packs and advise which should be adopted by Arc’teryx Additional experience, education and / or skills : Required · You have 3+ years’ experience in Product Development and Manufacturing processes· You have previous experience working in systems (Illustrator, Excel, PLM, or other)· You take a methodical, systematic approach to problem solving· You have an extreme attention to detail· You have the ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities· You have previous customer service experience and a customer-
centric approach· You have strong verbal and written communication skills · You have a willingness to improve your skills independently in new technologies and solutions· You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right· You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity· You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration· You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement· Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it Assets · You have a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel or Textile Design, Technology, Merchandising, or Engineering· You have previous experience developing training material and leading training sessions· You have Business Analyst experience· You have experience using PLM systems for apparel businesses· You have technical skills in advanced Excel, script writing, csv uploadsApply for this job
