  • What you will be doing :

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure optimum service levels are maintained by providing the required office coverage during operating hours, professional, engaging and friendly service is a must.
  • Process candidates through the candidate workflow, including but not limited to reviewing candidates, conducting and scheduling interviews, verifying references and facilitating offers of employment including background checks and references
  • Complete Step 1 / 2 of entering new colleagues into Dayforce
  • Assist with managing employee status changes
  • Assist with Biweekly Payroll with Accounting
  • Participates on a Hotel Committee as the T&C representative
  • Complies & supports all Corporate Talent & Culture Policies & Procedures
  • Create employee files for all new colleagues prior to Orientation
  • Responsible for responding to a variety of enquiry’s from colleagues and prospective colleagues
  • Assist with internal functions
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Your experience and skills include :

  • Previous human resources or operational leaders experience, at least two years, within a similar establishment is required
  • Hotel experience is an asset
  • Computer literate and excellent skills with all Microsoft Window applications required
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • University / College degree or diploma in a related discipline is preferred
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a very busy environment
  • Previous experience with HRIS / HR Manager systems, Taleo Recruiting, Time & Attendance Enterprise, Dayforce and Ceridian InSync is an asset
  • Organized, energetic, innovative and passionate about Human Resources and hospitality
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
