    Overview of the Role :

    Reporting to the Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions, the candidate will participate in the execution of M&A transactions and other special projects.

    How you will make contributions that matter :

  • Compile and prepare industry, company profile and sector reports;
  • Help to screen and analyze investment opportunities;
  • Perform financial analysis and value analysis;
  • Participate in the preparation of detailed financial modeling;
  • Participate in the due diligence on opportunities including past and projected financial performance, quality of management teams, investment merits and risks, expected returns, regulatory environment, industry dynamics and other relevant factors;
  • Help to coordinate various transaction work streams;
  • Help to prepare recommendations for approval;
  • Assist Saputo’s divisions in their strategic review and identify possible acquisition opportunities;
  • Assist other internal departments with various analyses.
  • You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or in a relevant field;
  • Strong financial analytical skills and the ability to interpret and resolve problems;
  • High degree of accuracy, strong organizational skills, self-motivation and ability to take initiative;
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish good interpersonal relations;
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Perfectly bilingual (essential);
  • Exceptional academic track record;
  • Flexibility, adaptability and initiative.
