Position summary :

  • Hire and train student fund-raisers for various solicitation and stewardships programs, and then provide on-going supervision, coaching and mentoring to the student fund-raiser team.
  • Develop and administer incentive programs for the student fund-raisers.
  • Respond to the inquiries from donors that come up during the calling program.
  • Manage the annual phone solicitation program, which administers many customized and targeted fundraising campaigns scheduled throughout the year.
  • Develop prospect lists, scripts, and maintain the operation of the software and hardware used by the phone solicitation program.
  • Collaborate with the Research & Stewardship Manager to develop phone, digital and print stewardship activities that compliment annual fundraising activities.
  • Engage in research on current fundraising tactics.
  • Prepare monthly reports on the student fundraiser program to make adjustments when necessary.
  • Requirements / Skills :

  • University degree or a background in a related professional field, which may include client / business development, non-profit management, sales or marketing.
  • A minimum of three years' fundraising experience, with a preference for telephone solicitation experience, along with a minimum of three years' supervisory experience.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours.
  • Excellent computer skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with fundraising software would be an asset.
  • Ability to travel within New Brunswick.
