We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills who is able to mesh well with our existing team. Ideally you will have the following :
You will support the service business by understanding priorities and safety requirements.
Work on the FRONT end user of Honeywell’s Enterprise Building Integration (EBI) supporting the preventive maintenance team by monitoring, isolating, responding to alarms, running reports, and controlling points
Perform admin functions including adding operators, configuring event archiving, configuring responsibility profiles, and configuring reports
Create custom displays that include objects connected to points in the EBI database
Modify Excel 5000 time programs and configure global schedules
Routinely backup system files and restore the EBI system
Configure station set-up files
Update EBI software to correct any software issue and gain features
Work with the customer’s IT team to configure and integrate new controllers with EBI and troubleshoot network integration components, as well as determine system TCP / IP operation
Upload the new points to the server and assign an IP address for BACnet and LON
Create and up Load graphics for new buildings
Respond to the customer in a timely basis, which includes during emergencies and after-hours (on-call)
YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (technical and software)
3+ years working experience with BACnet, LON Works and C-Bus communication protocols
3+ years of experience in programming Building Automation Systems or Programmable Logical Controllers (PLCs) CARE and CPO programming
3+ years of experience working in building network, LAN- BNA, I LON 600, controller’s configuration, integration and load up graphics to the FRONT user station
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Extensive experience in install, upgrade, troubleshooting, and programming HVAC controllers, XL5000, and CPO controllers are preferred
Niagara AX certification is preferred
Previous industry experience
Previous technical / installation experience
Previous customer service experience
Good written and oral communication
Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
Bachelor degree or technical / professional certificate
Good presentation skills
Knowledge of oil sands HVAC systems and interfacing with other systems is required.
Solid knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to building automation systems
